Why Book Early
…is at 5am during the storm, when every crew in the south metro is already committed to the customers who signed in September.
Snow contractors work a route. Once that route is full, it's full — and the people calling mid-storm get told no, or get quoted a premium and put at the back of the line. That's not gouging, it's just capacity. There are only so many hours between the snow stopping and everyone needing to leave for work.
Signing before the season starts means you're on the route. We show up because we already planned to, not because you got lucky.
Two Ways To Go
Seasonal Contract
One price for the whole winter, every qualifying storm covered. You're on the route and you never think about it again. Best value if it snows a normal amount, and much better value in a heavy year.
Per-Storm
Pay only when we come out. Good if you travel a lot in winter or you're usually fine handling it yourself and just want backup. Priority still goes to seasonal customers when a big one hits.
Who We Clear For
Driveways, walks and steps cleared before you leave for work. Long Parker and Castle Rock driveways are exactly what a contract is for.
Small lots, entrances and walkways. If customers or employees are walking on it before 8am, it needs to be clear and it needs to be safe.
Keep tenants safe and your liability down without driving over there yourself at 6am. One contract can cover several properties.
Straight Answers
We set the trigger depth with you when you sign — two inches is typical. Below that most people would rather we didn't bother. You can set it lower if you want.
The goal is cleared before 7am for anything that finishes overnight. Storms that run all day get a second pass. If a storm is big enough that we're running behind, you get a call — not silence.
Seasonal contracts cover every qualifying storm. No per-visit charges stacking up in a bad stretch. That's the whole point of the contract.
No. We walk the property before the season and note where things sit — sprinkler heads, edging, soft shoulders. That's part of the quote visit, and it's why we'd rather see your place in October than in the dark during a storm.
Yes. Devil Dog Property Services is a registered LLC carrying business insurance. Slip-and-fall liability is a real consideration with snow work, especially commercially — ask any contractor for proof, including us.
Now. September and October is when routes get built. Once the first real storm hits, we're taking care of the people already on the list.
